CHURCH HISTORY

South Caraway Baptist Church began as a mission of the First Baptist Church of  Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 2^nd. 1994.after a lot of prayer and evaluation.   First Baptist was as gracious a parent church as any I have ever seen.  Dr. Troy Prince was the first mission pastor which began at the Fox Meadow Elementary School.  The mission purchased approximately 20 acres of land and built a beautiful building in which to worship. 

The mission officially became an independent entity in October of 2001.  We began both a traditional service and a contemporary style of worship.  Since this time the church has added several staff members.  We have two associate pastors and a youth minister as well as a secretary.  Don Martin is the present pastor of the church.
